Why Interior Jobs Go Wrong

The Difference Is in the Prep Nobody Sees

Roller lines, bleed-through on the trim, a hairline crack that reappears by Christmas — none of that is a paint problem. It is a prep problem. Patching, sanding, caulking, and priming is the unglamorous half of the job, and it is the half that decides how the room looks in three years.

Furniture moved and fully covered
Floors and fixtures masked wall to wall
Nail holes, dents & cracks patched and sanded
Fresh caulk at trim, baseboards & casing
Stain-blocking primer where it is needed
Two finish coats unless the color says otherwise
Free color consultation before you commit
Daily cleanup and a final walkthrough together

Straight Talk on Price

What Actually Drives Your Quote

Every home is different, so we don't publish a fake number and change it later. Here's exactly what we're measuring when we walk your property.

1

Square footage and ceiling height

Two-story foyers and vaulted ceilings need staging, which costs more than a standard eight-foot wall.

2

How much trim is involved

Baseboards, casing, crown, and doors are slow, detailed work. A trim-heavy house prices differently than bare walls.

3

Repairs found during the walk

Water stains, nail pops, and cracked drywall get scoped up front so nothing turns into a surprise mid-job.

4

Color change severity

Deep red to soft white takes primer plus extra coats. A tonal shift does not. We will tell you which one you have.

Don't let budget stall the project

Carter's offers financing through Hearth. Check your options in about 60 seconds — it won't affect your credit score, and you'll see real monthly payments before you commit to anything.

Questions

Interior Painting Questions

How long will my house be torn up?

Most interior projects run 2–5 days depending on room count. We put the room back together every evening — you are not living in a construction site.

Do I need to move my furniture?

No. We move it to the center of the room and cover it. If something is fragile or irreplaceable, tell us and we will work around it.

Can you help me pick colors?

Yes, and it is free. Undertone in a north-facing Florida room behaves very differently than it does on the chip — that is exactly what the consultation is for.

What paint do you use?

Professional-grade product matched to the room. Kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways get a finish built for scrubbing; ceilings and bedrooms do not need to pay for that.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes, and it is written before we leave your house. No deposit to get a number, no pressure to sign on the spot.
