How It Started
Hello,
I am Philip Carter, the founder of Carter’s Painting Services. My story starts over 20 years ago not behind a desk, but on job sites across Gainesville, Fl; where I first picked up a hammer and learned what it takes to build something that lasts.
I began my career building multi million dollar custom homes, and over the years, that foundation in construction gave me an eye for detail, a respect for craftsmanship, and a drive to do things right the first time.
What started with carpentry quickly evolved into a passion for the finishing touches especially painting. I realized that a great paint job isn’t just about color it’s about clean lines, smooth surfaces, and protecting your investment. That passion led me to launch Carter’s Painting Services, where we bring a builder’s mindset and a painter’s precision to every project.

When I’m not on a ladder or behind a sprayer, you’ll find me saltwater fishing, RVing with my wife and children, or mentoring young people who want to learn a trade and build a future.
