The Deck Nobody Wants to Cross

Hot, Slick, and Stained Isn't a Life Sentence

Pool decks take chlorine, standing water, sunscreen, and relentless UV. Left alone, concrete spalls, coatings blister, and the surface gets slick exactly where people are barefoot and moving fast. Restoration fixes all three problems at once.

How It Works

Bringing Your Pool Deck Back

Zero surprises, zero babysitting. You'll always know what happens next — and exactly what it costs.

Surface Evaluation

We check what's there now, what's failing, and whether the slab underneath is sound.

Repair the Concrete

Cracks, chips, and spalled areas get addressed. Coating over damage just telegraphs it back through.

Prep for Adhesion

Cleaning, profiling, and removing failed coatings — the step that decides whether this lasts.

Coat & Texture

Slip-resistant system applied in your chosen color and finish, then left to cure properly before anyone walks it.

What Actually Drives Your Quote

Every home is different, so we don't publish a fake number and change it later. Here's exactly what we're measuring when we walk your property.

1

Deck square footage

The primary driver — measured, not estimated from a photo.

2

Condition of the concrete

Sound slab with surface staining is straightforward. Heavy spalling and cracking add real repair scope.

3

Existing coating removal

Old paint or a failed coating has to come off first, and that can be the biggest line item.

4

Finish system and color

Basic textured finishes and premium decorative systems sit at different price points.

Questions

Pool Deck Questions

Will it actually be less slippery?

Yes — these systems are textured specifically for wet barefoot traffic, which is a meaningful upgrade over smooth or painted concrete.

Will it be cooler to walk on?

Lighter colors and the coating itself reflect more heat than bare or dark concrete. It won't be cold in August, but the difference is real.

How long before we can use the pool area?

Cure times vary by system and weather. Typically light foot traffic within a day or two and full use in several — we'll give you exact timing.

Can you fix cracks in the concrete?

Yes, and we do it before coating. Coating over an unrepaired crack just means it reappears through your new surface.

What if my deck already has a coating on it?

If it's failing, it has to come off — otherwise the new system fails with it. We assess that during the estimate so there are no surprises.
